I believe in a profession driven by vocation and work ethic, that is inspired by a culture of compassion and conscientiousness; appreciated and respected by society; supported and united by the strong, inclusive community we created together in the ÂÜÀòÊÓƵ. I qualified as veterinary surgeon in 2006 from Trakia University, Bulgaria and I have been fortunate to work in EU and UK veterinary practices, which gave me broad experience of different professional and cultural approaches to veterinary policies and care.

I have been working as a small animal vet in the UK for 13 years, mostly in London and also as an Intern at Davies Veterinary Specialist. I have worked for independent and corporate practices, and for the last 5 years as a senior vet in a West London small animal practice. I have a particular interest in surgery and feline medicine.

As a strong believer in the importance of team and personal development, I qualified as a clinical coach to support nursing training process, I have also mentored EMS students and supported junior vets with on-the-job training. As part of my ongoing personal development, I have been involved in clinical research and have presented an abstract at the ECVS annual scientific meeting.

I would love to draw on all my knowledge and experiences and channel my support via ÂÜÀòÊÓƵ’s well established pathways, to all current and future members, during this most challenging time for our industry. I hope we can learn from and support each other through ÂÜÀòÊÓƵ forums and further our mutual passion for a bright future for our vocation and for us as individuals.
